These are all pictures that Dustin took. They turned out great, so I just had to share. I got them pretty out of order, though.

It's HOW hot in Texas?? Alaska trip 2007.
We just returned from 2 weeks in Alaska. It was so nice and cool there. We could feel the heat as we exited the plane to Texas! I see many summers in Alaska in our future!!
Quick synopsis of our trip:
We started off the trip with Mandy and Ely picking us up at the airport. It was so good to see them. Ely has grown so much since last year. Later that evening we got to meet Kelly, Dustin's finace. She is wonderful. We are so excited for them. Dustin, Kelly, and Nathan left the next morning for a fishing trip. The next day Dustin, Kelly, Nathan, me and the kids went on a little trip to Valdez. It was a beautiful drive. It was much cooler there and we enjoyed some fun places. The boys and Kelly did some great fishing there. Sunday night we went to the famous Double Musky Inn for dinner for Nathan and Ely's birthdays. It was fabulous. The next day, I spent a day with the kids while Nathan and Darren went on a mega-hike. Nathan returned home with his sweatpants tied around a bloody hand. Lovely. After a $500.00 trip to a clinic he received 3 stitches. He would like to tell you that he was attacked by a bear, but he really just fell on a sharp rock. We had lots of fun during the week with hikes, shopping, and fishing. One day Nathan and I even hiked 5 miles round trip with all three kiddos to the resort. What were we thinking!?! Then we took a weekend trip to Mandy's parents house in Kenai. It was so fun and relaxing. Mandy was awesome and volunteered to watch all three kids so I could go out on the river fishing. It was so relaxing and great, even if we didn't catch anything. It was so fun to spend time with the family, We are so looking forward to Dustin and Kelly's wedding in June. Kaylee is going to be the flower girl and Ely the ringbearer. How exciting!

Kelly, Kaylee, and Nathan hiking up next to the falls
Nice.
And this is where they had the best fishing!
This is Worthington Glacier that we hiked to. It was really cold and hard with the kids, but so worth it! How many people can say they touched a glacier?

Great trip!! I could give so many more details, but I am still too tired!!
